Sébastien Soleille is Director at Deloitte Sustainability, holds a Masters in Environmental Engineering and Management from the Mines ParisTech Graduate School and has also studied at the École Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale of Rural Engineering, Water and Forestry. He is an expert in sustainable development, industrial environment, the oil and gas industry and renewable energy.
Sébastien has over 15 years of experience in project management on a variety of subjects, notably energy policy, life cycle assessment, environmental policy and resource efficiency. At Deloitte Sustainability, he coordinated several projects for the European Commission as project manager, such as a project on the review of the list of Critical Raw Materials (CRM), Enhancing Comparability of data for fossil fuels for DG ENV, a study aiming at elaborating an inventory of all critical materials used in the European Defence sector for the JRC, a study on Research on Conditions and Design Parameters for Strengthening Offshore Safety Expertise in EU Member States, for DG ENER, 2014-2015. In addition, Sébastien has presided over multi-million Euro projects throughout his experience as a manager at Total. Sébastien’s mother tongue is French and he is fluent in English and Spanish.
